In order to reopen our accommodation safely we have made several changes to our guest arrangements and protocols that conform to the Scottish Government and Hospitality guidelines.
We have had to remove many loose items such as cushions, bedcovers and rugs, books and magazines etc that would be handled by the next visitors. This means that, for the time being, the rooms look rather bare compared to what we would like.
Before you arrive: If you want to have food delivered before you arrive its packaging will have been disinfected.
During your stay: Unless you have booked both our accommodation units, they are separated with a locked door, so you will not have to share facilities with anyone else. It also means that we will not be cooking and serving breakfast, as we would have done in pre-Covid times.
On your departure day: We ask you to please strip all beds of sheets, towels, duvet covers and pillow cases.
Bags are provided for these, and they will be laundered whether you have used them or not.
Any books, newspapers, DVDs or other items you have brought with you must also be removed or disposed of in the outside bins.
Please also open the bedroom windows before leaving.
We apologise for having to put these measures in place. However, it does mean that you will be able to stay without undue risk or anxiety.
